What is a reference check?
Reference checks are a useful way to learn about a persons history, by connecting to those who know the person well - their peers, supervisors and subordinates. When you conduct a reference check, you will get a customized report that summarizes that person's behaviour in a number of circumstances. This can be useful as a part of the hiring process when you are trying to decide between candidates, or to ensure that you have the right fit. References are an additional tool, and give a unique perspective that can be challenging to obtain otherwise
